Pomp pulina has been selected for the program of Kajaani Poetry Week!
Kajaani Poetry Week is an annual event for the arts and performing arts. The event has been held since 1976 around the Poetry and Summer Days in early July. Actress Kati Outing is the artistic director who is responsible for the event's program.
Pomp pulina is the bouncing of balls, the clatter of words, and the jingling of dance. In the work, poems and dance are fitted together into a smooth whole. The piece, aimed at preschool and early elementary children, is a thoughtful and funny look at worldviews, obsessions, and the lightness of the Moon.
Pomp Pulina will be performed on Saturday, July 4th at 1 pm on the Sissilinna stage of the Kajaani City Theatre. Tickets are on sale at lippu.fi. The performance is approximately 35 minutes long and is recommended for all kindergarten and primary school children and their families.
Performing in Kajaani are Iiris Hilden, Perttu Puranen and Mimmi Salo.
Pomp Pulina is the 2025 original work of the Keskellä Collective.
