I will be participating in Liikeveistämö in the fall of 2026.
Liikeveistämö is a model for supporting the artistic work, organized by the Central Finland Dance Center. Liikeveistämö offers dance artists working time for artistic research and development. Veli Lehtovaara, artistic director of the Tanssin Aika festival, will be the mentor of Liikeveistämö.
The demo resulting from the artistic research will be presented at the Tanssin Aika festival in September 2026.
In Liikeveistämö, people work both independently alone and in shared practice shifts with two other dance artists. The work takes place at the Cultural House Villa Rana, Jyväskylä.
This year, dance artists Laura Koistinen, Taru Aho and Mimmi Salo were selected for Liikeveistämö based on applications.
