Heart beats, me

Heart beats, me is a work performed for one spectator at a time, based on the viewer’s individual heartbeat.

Before the performance, the spectator is fitted with a heart rate monitor on the wrist. The constantly changing heartbeat is heard and seen in the performance space. This rhythm forms the basis for the musician’s improvisation and the dancer’s movement.
