Dance memory game

In the dance memory game, a viewer plays memory with the dancer, trying to find pairs behind the revealed memory cards.

The cards form pairs, but they are not identical, so the child has to search for pairs by watching the dance.

The memory game can be played alone, with a child and a guardian, or in small groups. The game is scalable in difficulty and suitable for various small groups, e.g., in kindergartens or special groups. The game trains attention, memory, and the observation and recognition of movement.

The Dance Memory Game is part of Jyväskylä region’s early education and primary school cultural content called Kompassi, produced by the city. The work is light and adaptable and can also be purchased for various events, such as children’s festivals or dance programs.
