Weekly contact improvisation jam at Maatalo Mahdollisuuksien Talo.
On the 14th Jan, I will facilitate a warm-up for 30 minutes at 16.30-17.00 after which there will be an open jam.
Voluntary donation for the space 3-5 euros.
You can come and go as you wish during the jam.
Contact improvisation or CI is a form of dance and physical improvisation. It is a way to explore with gravity & receiving and giving weight with one or more people. CI focuses on dance encounters through movement and touch. Contact improvisation involves playfulness, freedom to experiment and to fail. CI may have music or take place in silence.
Jams and classes have an open level: beginners and more experienced dancers share the same space.
